Stroft FC1 100% Fluorocarbon Tippet Material Waku's new fluorocarbon material is the best in test according to the EFFTA. Stroft FC1 has an exceptionally high knot strength and the highest breaking strains that the EFTTA have as yet been able to confirm for lines made from 100% fluorocarbon. Stroft have paid particular attention to the sensitivity and feed-back as well as the resistance to abrasion. Peak performance can be expected in both these properties, even though the line can not be classed as particularly hard, they have low elasticity and are best described as being supple and tough. FC1 Fluorocarbons have the highest breaking strains that the EFTTA have as yet been able to confirm for fluorocarbon lines. Compare FC1 againts other Fluorocarbon material. Has it been independantly audited? - we doubt it. As with most mono's, the majority of Fluorocarbon on the market carry ratings that are overstated. Our rod tube, all Epic. Yep, because we just can't bear to do what everybody else does we had to put the Epic spin on our rod tubes. Hand rolled from cross weave fiberglass, our Epic tube is incredibly strong yet decidedly feather like in the weight department. Finished in a tough clear gloss top coat. It will not ding & dint like the other guys el-cheapo extruded aluminium tubes, nor is it so damn noisy! - these babies can roll and slide around in the back of your truck without you having to turn up the Creedence to drown out the din.
