It's just so damn nice to cast.
Want a Spey but don't want to wrestle a 13 footer - this is the Trout Spey Rod for you. It will handle just about anything and is very easy to load up and cast your heart out. Fun with a capital F!
I have casted a lot of spey rods in my time and this is one of the best. I was a Winston double hander guy until I got this sweet little rod in my hands. This rod beautifully casts both Scadi and Skagit lines. I highly recommend this rod to anyone who is looking for a high performance Trout Spey Rod.
Light, plenty of power and the workmanship and cork is - as they say - absolutely flawless. I looked at and cast a few - including the new Sage Trout Spey - all I can say is that I'm very happy I went with an Epic. Top notch all the way!
