Each Epic two-handed Spey rod is a custom-tuned, advanced, lightweight, and highly responsive two-handed fly rod.
Titanium stripping guides, the best cork in the industry, Japanese silk wraps, CNC machined reel seat with self-locating hood, alignment dots and a handwritten inscription - this is a two-handed fly rod like no other.

After talking to expert Spey casters around the world a 13ft two-hander was clearly the most versatile and useful length for most two-handed casters. A standardized length across our range also makes line selection a comparatively easy task.

Feedback from travelling anglers told us that conventional 4 piece rods were too long to travel with, we took that on board and produce all our two-handers in a convenient 6 piece configuration. These big rods will easily fit in your luggage alongside a single-handed fly rod.

AustraliaI was so excited to get my Xmas present this year an epic DH8/13. As expected the service, quality and the workmanship was first class. As a full time guide and casting instructor this rod has to not only look good but first and foremost it has be a great rod to cast and fish with. I not only fish this rod in rivers but more often off the rocks and off the beach and in the hands of clients new to fishing and casting Spey rods. All of my rods have to perform well and stand up to harsh saltwater environments my livelihood depends on it. I love my new Epic and the feedback from my clients is has been very positive. United StatesThis rod is an absolute pleasure to cast and it has incredible feel when fighting fish. It is such a forgiving rod that just seems to load up and launch line even when your casting stroke may be touch off, and when it is on, it is mind blowing. The 13ft length still feels incredibly light in hand and so smooth and crisp. I love the 6 piece design for travel reasons and you give up nothing in terms of rod action. The 6 wt trout Spey is perfect for AK trout and I love it for summer Steelhead on the Deschutes. The uniquness of this rod makes it something everyone should have in their quiver. The fact that it is a beautiful, hand made product, only makes it more desirable. I absolutely love fishing this Spey.
Feel like this rod was made for me. Or was I made for her? Anyhow, I will dedicate my life and love to her and I hope she will trust me as much as I trust her. She gives me joy, confidence and superb casts! Please let me know as soon as a 14” #9 is in the making ❤️ Or would that make me unfaithful?
