Hello Mr Brown - another delicious custom fly rod build from Christian Hörgren.

Christian Hörgren is an extremely talented and creative fly rod builder from Stockholm Sweden. Christian's work is clean, elegant, and stunning - we can't get enough of it.

We recently sent Christian a new blank that we have in the works for release next year - The profile is our current Epic 480, but the colour is new.

This is a preview of a blank that will be available next year. The taper is my favorite among the Epic Swift rods, the 8', 4wt. The brown colored version only exist in a limited run of ten rods so far. This is one of them. It's appointed with Pearsall Naples Java silk, Snake Brand guides in dark nickel, a slim Shakespeare grip with a mortised cork seat. The skeleton is made of NS tubing that has been bronzed to accomplish the color scheme of the rod. Butt cap in corian and stacked bamboo. The reel will be available in a limited batch very soon.
