Sure Fit Ferule™ Break a tip? we've got you covered. This ferrule system is so precise that parts interchange between models. Action Epic G Series fly rod blanks are high-performance fishing tools. The lockup point develops in the top third of the blank, and although recovery rates are fast, the Epic G series would best be described as Mid Flex and Medium fast. They are light without sacrificing strength.
Carbon Helix Core. The helical core forms the basis for hoop strength and fibre support in the zero/longitudinal axis and does away with traditional scrim based construction.
Super Low Resin Systems. Utilising materials with resin content up to 30% less than conventional materials, Epic G series blanks are lighter and stronger. Low resin materials help increase bending limits & overall response.
Internal High Strength Ferrule. A high strength internal ferrule is placed at each join to provide superior crush and split resistance.

Epic G (Carbon) series fly rod blanks are high-performance fishing tools. The lockup point develops in the top third of the blank, and although recovery rates are fast, the Epic G series would best be described as Mid Flex (Orvis) or Medium fast (Sage). They are light without sacrificing strength (lighter than the equivalent Sage one).
Graphene nano-technology Epic G (Graphene) series are a state of the art fly rod blank. The most sophisticated composite materials and production processes are used in their construction. Proprietary Graphene nano-resin, full Helical construction, multi modulus, and unidirectional carbon fibre - We believe this is the most sophisticated fly rod blank available.

hi, I assembled the 590G 5 weights kit, as usual, flawless packaging, all top quality components, I had a small problem in applying the calcomania with the name of the rod, I wrote to the Epic staf and they sent me within 2 weeks other 2 decals.
I tried the rod in fishing it is very fun, precise in casting and very light, I also tried it with weight 4 and it behaves very well .. I am very happy with my purchase.
to the next purchase ciao Roberto Tamburini
My first fly rod build and the kit was excellent. Instruction manual, materials, online videos, everything was top notch. I also bought the fly rod turner/dryer. One could build without it, but it made the epoxy drying easy on me. I think you will need a thread bobbin as well since it helps keep the thread tight while wrapping. Now I need to get out and use it.
This will be my third Epic build. These DIY kits are a wonderful way into the world of rod building. I was fortunate to be able to hold a finished graphene rod in the Swift studio. My heart raced when I saw how beautiful it looked and how light it was in the hand. Carl is passionate about his products and I admire the niche market he has developed for us fussy fly anglers bored with the mass produced items that flood our market. His products are absolute first class. I have yet to build this 590 graphene rod, but I am confident it will be as stunning as the graphite and fibreglass rods I have already purchased. Well done Team Swift!
