Stunning gear!
This rod is absolutely outstanding! I've been using the 6wt 690G for the last couple of weeks in the Patagonia region, and the experience so far is great. The harsh weather was not a problem to cast huge streamers with precision.

Another Epic Epic!
Received my new 690C. Absolutely beautiful and can't wait to put it to use alongside my other Epic sticks. Keep up the good work and can't wait to get back to fishing in NZ!

It seems to have that little something special
Hi Guy’s, Just a quick note of thanks for my rods. Im looking forward to building my 686. I'd like to give you some feedback on the Studio Built 690c. Firstly, its a lovely looking rod (thank you Trevor & Haley). I took it fishing on the McCloud river in Northern California (the river from which all rainbows around the world originally come from!), over the last few days and it performed extremely well. You just cannot beat a progressive rod with plenty of power in the bottom half of the blank and a nice sensitive tip, it's what a fly rod is all about. I have used a lot of rods in my time, but this is a real beauty. It seems to have that little something special. I tried some different types of lines on it, and decided that a true weight line was best overall, there is no need to overload this rod. Perfect! Find attached a few pictures and thanks once again. I’ll send you a photo of the 686 once I’ve built it sometime in December. Additionally, you can expect a few more orders from me over the come weeks and months. Regards and Thanks again, Gavan An Irishman on a mission in America !!!
Gold standard for trout rods
I live in the northeast part of the US and, when I'm not working, I'm chasing trout on small technical streams (e.g. Mossy Creek) in the east and bigger rivers out west like the Colorado, Blue, Arkansas or South Platte. This rod, the 690 C, is exceptional for any form of trout fishing. It's my favorite performance rod and is the benchmark against which any other rod should be evaluated. It's beautifully crafted and whether I'm fishing with friends or using a guide, everyone wants to give it a go and comes away impressed. I can't say enough good things about the production quality and the customer service I've received from Swift. Keep doing what your doing - everyone is taking notice.
Great 6 wt.
My 6 690G Carbon Fiber 6 wt. is a very pleasant casting rod. I use it in the mangrove creeks and backcountry in the waters of Pine Island Sound in Southwest, Florida. The rod loads well at short distance and it allows me to cast accurately at longer distance. Now, I need the same rod in an 8 wt.
