Waku's new fluorocarbon material is the best in test according to the EFFTA. Stroft FC1 has an exceptionally high knot strength and the highest breaking strains that the EFTTA have as yet been able to confirm for lines made from 100% fluorocarbon.
Stroft have paid particular attention to the sensitivity and feed-back as well as the resistance to abrasion. Peak performance can be expected in both these properties, even though the line can not be classed as particularly hard, they have low elasticity and are best described as being supple and tough.
FC1 Fluorocarbons have the highest breaking strains that the EFTTA have as yet been able to confirm for fluorocarbon lines.
Compare FC1 againts other Fluorocarbon material. Has it been independantly audited? - we doubt it. As with most mono's, the majority of Fluorocarbon on the market carry ratings that are overstated.

You will not find a better tippet material than those made by STROFT
Tried using Stroft FC1 flurocarbon Tippet during the 2019-2020 season after a recommendation by a local guide. No doubt the strongest tippet I've ever used, much truer to word for breaking strain than others claim to be. Head scratching breakages are now a thing of the past thanks to this product. For what it's worth I highly reccommend trying it out.
Excellent product, been using for awhile now after being recommended to try by a local guide after suffering from constant tippet breakages from another brand.
Failures of tippet has become a thing of the past since using Stroft FC1 which gives a lot of confidence back when playing a feisty NZ trout.
I rate this line very highly and recommend it to anyone that has suffered the same disappointment of a tippet failures for no reason other than a poor product.
I have use the line several times and have found it lies on the water very well and is hard to see. The line casts well and find the line strenght is a lot better than other line I have used in the past.
