George and the top 10

George and the top 10

January 05, 2014 1 min read

If you've been following along with what's hot in the Fibreglass world you would have seen the astounding builds coming out of George Minculete's Tightloop Fly Rods workshop in Romania.

If you haven't, you need to sit up and pay attention up there in the back row! - George is one of a handful of select Epic Custom Rod Builders, great guy and wicked rod builder extraordinaire.

The pic below is pretty much what we've come to expect from George - Slick, clean & absolutely gorgeous.

The blank is one of our Epic 686's in Salsa, and as usual George has bought it to life with a masterful build & slick componentry.

This rod was featured recently by Lumberjack, a hip outdoors and mountaineering site - here's the full feature on Georges build

And if that wasn't enough Georges Salsa Epic went on to become one of the top 10 favourite features on Lumberjack for 2013 (bottom Pic)

You can follow what George is up to on his Facebook page - and we suggest you do, there'll be a test...
